Each student enrolled in a Kat Studios Performance Program will have the opportunity to experience a live photoshoot. Test your acting skills infront of a camera lens and put your best face forward.
QUICK GUIDE TO HEADSHOTS
Acting headshots are portrait photos that actors use to land roles, showcasing their professionalism, personality, and brand if relevant. These photos highlight the actor's unique traits and are essential for making a lasting impression in the industry.
What are Headshots?
In the studio, we emphasize the importance of actors presenting their best professional face and building confidence in front of the camera. Photos taken are private, displayed only at the entrance of performances, and shared publicly only with written permission.
Why Do We Use Headshots?
Please arrive fresh-faced, well-rested, in a shirt that suits you best (no patterns or spaghetti straps). Hair should be groomed, and wear comfortable bottoms and shoes (e.g., leggings). Minimal makeup is allowed. Ensure 8-9 hours of sleep before the shoot.
Appearance & Clothing
Cost per Student is $65.00 (E-transfer to kat@katstudios.ca before the photoshoot date to confirm your booking). Each session is 15/20 minutes with one look; longer sessions available upon request. Program students receive a complimentary and downloadable digital gallery to select their best look.
