Artistic Director
Michaela Todd
Michaela grew up in Erin, Ontario, while spending the majority of her childhood in Guelph dancing at Anne Marie Oliver’s School of Dance, where she trained for 12 years. With her mother being a drama teacher and her many weekly dance lessons, she grew fond of the performing arts at a very young age. Michaela currently attends Wilfred Laurier University for Archaeology and French in hopes of one day becoming a French teacher. However, she is still working to pursue her dream of being a singer/songwriter. She refuses to allow the performing arts slip away from her, which is how she fell into her teaching position at Kat Studios. In the past, you may have seen her perform in a number of shows with RCMPI or even singing her heart out with KW Glee. She has had the opportunity to choreograph for KW Glee’s summer camp and is
excited to continue her work as a choreographer at Kat Studios!

Julia has a lifelong passion for the arts and studied various forms of dance for more than 13 years here in Guelph. In addition to being a student herself, Julia has spent years teaching/coaching drama with kids of all ages, both in school, and through her many years at working at nearby C.Y.O. Camp Brebeuf. Julia looks forward to being able to dive into all that this new opportunity has to offer, and channel her passions into our growing little community here at Kat Studios!
