OUR MISSION– To create a professional, foundational and nurturing full circle performance training experience for the passionate artists of our community. Building a strong performance family. Pushing the creative passion, moving hearts and making magic.♥ 

Here at Kat Studios we create a space where young performers can openly and freely express themselves through Singing, Dancing, Acting and much more. Our programs are designed to guide students in the right direction to help reach their full artistic potential. Guiding young artists through their own creative process is something that is very important to us, here at Kat Studios and what sets us apart from any other performance program in Ontario. Through enrolment of our program, students will gain experience performing in front of an audience, full development of stage presence, proper posture, voice control, character development and over all conviction on stage. Students will gain foundational and transferable skills such as, Confidence, Imagination, exploration, teamwork, trust, improvisation, storytelling, freedom of thought and expression, vocal speech training, numerous forms of dance including, (Ballet, Hip hop, Theatre Jazz, ballroom, musical theatre) and movement, stage combat, Ear training, and sight reading music.

Kat Norton is originally from Guelph Ontario and is proud to be back in her home town developing her very own Performance Program for the creative youth performers of Guelph and surrounding area. Kat began her training when she was three at The Royal City School of Ballet and Theatre Jazz Company with Patricia McLeod.  Kat was immersed in a strict ballet form and that was where she developed a true appreciation and passion for the Performing arts. Kat studied Theatre Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Classical Ballet for fifteen years at RCSB while pursuing acting with theatre companies in her local region.  Kat’s first theatre performance was with The Little Theatre Company, Guelph, where she played the role of Lucy in Dracula.  Kat has Directed many Scripted & Original  productions in the GTA such as, “Salt Watermoon” by David French, “The Audition “By Don Zolidis and most recently one of her personal favourite Originals entitled   ” The Door Of Dreams”19′. Kat is a graduate of Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts College in Toronto, Ontario. Kat has a Three year Private Conservatory Intensive Diploma in Singing, Dancing & Stage Acting including specializing in Film & Television.  Kat has years of experience working with Youth performers of all levels. Kat is very passionate about what she teaches and only hopes that she can take her skills and experience and make a positive impact on her students. ” Artists need a space to thrive and excel in their craft, my goal is to build that safe space for my students so that they feel ready to take on any challenge that lies ahead”. -Kat
